Welder

WELDER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for sourcing materials to be used in any project/ work.
- Measuring and cutting materials to specifications/ requirements.
- Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metal together.
- Checking with in-charge against request.
- Preparing the surrounding area by covering with cloth or plastic to prevent damage.
- Moving furniture and equipment as necessary to reach the entire surface of the project.
- Taping off areas as needed.
- Cleaning up supplies and replacing fixtures when project is complete.
- Performs ad-hoc tasks when requested by manager or supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school degree.
- Minimum 1 year proven working experience as a Welder.
- Knowledge of materials, pieces, techique, finishing types etc. related to welding.
- Ability to climb ladders, carry heavy equipment’s/ items
- Ability to stand for long period of time.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Punctual and reliable.
