Security Guard

Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent observation skills, and the ability to act swiftly in emergencies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Patrol assigned areas regularly, including buildings, grounds, and parking lots, to detect and deter suspicious activity.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security risks.
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances promptly and appropriately.
- Conduct thorough security checks of individuals, vehicles, and bags entering and exiting the premises.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Complete detailed reports of security incidents, observations, and actions taken during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain a neat and organized security station, including logging of visitors and deliveries.

**Qualifications**:

- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position preferred.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Excellent observational and surveillance skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Basic knowledge of security operations and procedures.
- Valid [State] Security Guard License or ability to obtain one.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
