_Qualifications and Education Requirements_

**Minimum acceptable**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training in mechanical or electrical systems is an advantage.
- At least **2 years of experience**working in _a steel reinforcement or similar manufacturing environment._
- Familiarity with steel bar specifications and reinforcement processing is preferred.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Operate the shear line machine to cut steel bars according to production plans and client specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal operation.
- Check the accuracy of cuts and measurements to meet quality standards.
- Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies in materials or equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the shear line equipment.
- Notify the maintenance team of any major mechanical issues or breakdowns.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Ensure the work area is clean and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with other operators and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow.
- Maintain records of daily production, downtime, and any equipment issues.
- Provide feedback to supervisors on process improvements for efficiency and quality.

Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills.
