IT Technician

Responsibilities:

- Monitors and Maintains networks and servers, system performance, security (access, firewalls, anti-virus etc.) of IT infrastructures.
- Upgrades, installs/ uninstalls, repair, recover, configures new and existing hardware and software to meet requirements for both new and existing users.
- Assists teams in bringing in quotation of IT products for purchase, negotiating best price.
- Ensures, backup of all system is carried out on a regular basis, ensuring regular file archival & purge as necessary with appropriate approvals.
- Ensures installation and update of Biometric/ Attendance System in required locations making sure respective users are trained in using the system along with extracting the reports for HR & Management.
- Training storekeeper/ other staff on the right way of use of biometric devise and process of reporting.
- Ensures are licensing laws are followed in the installation of any product.
- Advise team on IT related queries and requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolves user issues/ requests in a timely manner.
- Responsible to advise n appropriate hardware and software for the organization, negotiating prices during purchase.
- Performs ad-hoc administration duties, as and when requested by management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors in computer science, or Information Technology, or Information Systems etc.
- Minimum 2 year of experience in similar field.
- Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
- Strong interpersonal & Customer service skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

**Salary**: BD150.000 - BD200.000 per month
