**Main Responsibilities**

1. Record all accounting transactions

2. Use financial data to diagnose business conditions, identify problems, and develop plans

3. Prepare, read and analyze financial statements

4. Provides monthly, quarterly and annual closings

5. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

6. Ensure timely bank payments

7. Monitor company wide spending and budgets

8. Computing, filing and planning VAT returns

9. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

10. Assist in audit financial transactions and documents

11. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary

12. Comply with financial policies and regulations

13. Foster a culture of trust, transparency, and accountability between the finance department and the company
- Must have work experience as an Accountant or similar position
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Must be a holder of any Accounting, Finance or relevant degree. Hands-on experience with accounting software like ZohoBooks or Quickbooks.
- Able to communicate fluently in English and well in Arabic
