Van Salesman

**Role purpose**

Van Salesman main role is to drive a delivery vehicle and deliver the products to assigned destinations. Your duties will also include keeping sales records and ensuring proper maintenance of the company vehicle.

**Key accountabilities**
- Delivering purchase orders, accounting for the safe and timeous delivery of purchased products.
- Performing sales duties, promoting products, analysing market competition and collecting payments.
- Maintaining sales and delivery records, as well as meeting sales targets.
- Liaising with other departments to ensure optimal customer services.
- Performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks

**Role-specific experience and skills**
- High school diploma
- Bachelor's or associate degree in marketing would be advantageous.
- 2-5 years of experience as a van salesman, or similar.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Relevant knowledge on traffic rules and regulations
- Extensive experience in identifying new customers and negotiating deals.
- Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
- High organizational and time management skills
