**1. Job Purpose**

As an Engineering Manager responsible for using the industry knowledge to oversee a variety of activities. The Manager may manage and direct electrical and mechanical activities in a manufacturing activity related to maintenance, testing, quality assurance of operations of Organization’s equipment and machines. Also, Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of projects, manages budgets, supervises multiple teams through collaboration with other management personnel, provide instructions to engineering teams, and ensuring the successful completion of projects on time and within budget. Handling to conduct research and development for new machines, equipment, tools, and processes, while maintaining technical accuracy and coordinating work with other managers and staff.

**Success Factors**:

- Deliver impactful and reliable output from engineering team.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety of staff and engineering activities including equipment and machines in operations.
- Manage Job closing with the Finance Department.
- Ensure to Maintain and develop accreditation standards, compliance, and assessments within Engineering department to international standards.

**2. Primary Duties Performed**
- Manages staff and assigns tasks with collaboration with the Assistant Engineering Manager.
- Responsible for the design, development and implementation of our engineering strategies and processes.
- Planning and executing strategies for completing projects on time.
- Build the entire technical documentation and project roadmaps.
- Analyse, propose and manage budgets, technologies, and resources for projects and manage the material.
- Manage the work of multiple teams.
- Determine the need for training and talent development.
- Manage and Set the Departmental KPIs and measurement methodology.
- Manage, Support and evaluate engineering staff performance.
- Providing leadership, technical guidance, and direction to project Engineering Teams.
- Ensuring Responsible Engineers understand and achieve the required engineering outcomes to time, cost and quality.
- Hiring and supervising staff.
- Prioritize, delegate, and supervise all engineers’ activities and deliverables.
- Communicate and collaborate with other managers, stakeholders, and contractors.
- Managing the resolution of any delays
- Managing process improvements
- Preparation of reports that related to projects and maintenance activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety of staff and engineering activities including equipment and machines in operations.
- Ensure that the staff is aware of Food Safety Standards by maintaining the Food Safety Standards and reporting to the concern department if any hazards like Biological or Chemical or Physical affecting in food processing or delivery.

**3. Qualifications and Experience Required**
- Bachuler or Master’s Degree in mechanical engineering or electrical.
- Experience in a FCMG industrial environment.
- Must have previous Managerial experience, minimum of 5-7 years.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and blueprints.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze failures and implement effective corrective solutions.
- Effective communication skills to influence all levels of personnel and to create change.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to influence safety practices and initiatives.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent understanding of procurement policies including contract administration
- Must have availability to work some nights/weekends and off-hour call outs
- Ability to access all areas of the plant as required to perform duties of the position.

Pay: BD2,800.000 - BD3,500.000 per month
