IT Technician

**IT Technical Support**

The job holder is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of both logical and physical systems, hardware and software security to the customer locations. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and Partners.

**Job Responsiblities**

**IT Technical - Outdoor Client Support**
- Visit sites when needed to solve problems regarding communicating devices.
- Experience with LAN, wireless tech, switch/router configuration, network diagnostic tools.
- Assembly, building and troubleshooting of computer hardware and sold merchandise onsite and at customers’ premises.
- Recognizing the needs of the consumer and provide detailed information to the consumer about the technical specifications of the computer hardware/software offered by the company.
- Configure, create and alter Router, Switch & Firewall configurations and rule bases.
- Manage service requests, software installations, new computer setups, upgrades etc
- Shall be able to carry out all the activities of Netwrok CAT 6 cabling and installation associated with Residential/Commercial Building Projects and Heavy/light Industrial Projects.
- Shall be able to plan his job well in advance and prepare the material/tool requirements.
- Shall be fully knowledge about the precise use of networking tools, quality of tools and all the safety aspects on the use of tools.

**CCTV Technical Support**
- CCTV technicians spend the majority of their time installing and maintaining CCTV systems.
- Additional duties include monitoring equipment, preparing purchasing requests for materials needed for each project and writing daily and monthly reports regarding maintenance work provided.

**Technical Skills**
- Relevant industry qualifications, CCNA, CCNP, relevant Microsoft and AWS qualifications
- Minimum 3 years related work experience.
- Must have experience in Firewall, Switch and Router configurations (CCNA minimum).
- Hands-on experience with cloud services is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of DNS, DHCP, AD, VPN, TCP/IP.
- Excellent knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy management and hardening.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contract, New grad
Contract length: 24 months

**Experience**:

- IT Technical Support: 1 year (preferred)
- CAT6 Network Cabling: 1 year (preferred)
- CCTV Installation Fixing: 1 year (preferred)
