Manama, Bahrain US Secretary of the Navy Offices (SECNAV) Full time

**Duties**:

- You will facilitate the navy's ability to carry out the Antiterrorism (AT), Force protection (FP), Law Enforcement (LE), and Physical Security (PS) missions of the Navy.
- You will serve as technical advisor on security, vulnerability assessments, and law enforcement training requirements.
- You will be developing policies, procedures and methods as well as directing and overseeing the evaluation of antiterrorism, force protection, law enforcement and physical security education and training programs.
- You will develop, recommend, coordinate and oversee the execution of policies involving antiterrorism (AT) and Force Protection (FP), and physical security.
- You will recommend equipment, methods, policies, procedures, and systems to enhance the level of security in the protection of U.S. assets to include installations, and sensitive/classified information and material.

- This position has been designated as a Security Professional Educational Development (SPeD), Physical Security Certification (PSC) is required within 24 months of assuming the position and must be maintained through the entire length of appointment.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

- **Analyzing and resolving complex security training issues; developing and implementing procedures to cover multiple security objectives to include anti-terrorism, force protection, information and operational security, and physical security; AND conducting security vulnerability assessments.**

- **GS-09** grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

- **Assisting with analyzing security training requirements and methods that cover multiple security objectives to include anti-terrorism, force protection, information and operational security, and physical security.**- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
