Job duties:
- To have familiarity with college and university programs, majors, admissions requirements and processes, and scholarship and financial aid resources in USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Europe and/or New Zealand.
- Create profiles for each applicant and work collaborative with other counselors to review make final approvals.
- Helping students choose courses and extracurricular activities that will help them get into their chosen colleges or careers.
- Planning university admissions related seminars, conferences, workshops, and other public events;
- Representing Score Plus (The Princeton Review) at local fairs, school fairs and other promotional opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate and current knowledge of educational legislation, trends, developments, and resources.
Qualifications:
- Graduated from a reputed University with a degree in Education or any relevant filed.
- Those who have studied in universities in USA, UK, Canada will be preferred._
- Verbal and written fluency in English.
- High level of attention to detail and demonstrated organizational ability
- Excellent time management, planning and implementation, analytical, and computer/internet skills.
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work extended hours during critical admissions seasons
- Highly organized with a distinct propensity for timeliness and professionalism
- Excellent active listening, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning and people reading skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized.
- Willingness to guide others and provide ongoing support to students and parents as needed.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Manama: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
