Draughtsman- Electrical

Required a reliable and experienced Electrical Draftsman with thorough knowledge of HVAC installation and repair. To determine the project specifications, design technical wiring blueprints, and oversee the installation and construction of electrical systems
- Conducting site studies to determine power needs and functional requirements.
- Creating technical wiring and power layout diagrams and specifications sheets.
- Estimating the required power generation and consumption needs.
- Calculating the number of materials and equipment needed.
- Generating technical specification documents, installation guides, and user manuals.
- Ensuring that the electrical plants meet all regulatory and safety requirements.
- Create accurate, detailed technical plans for electrical systems using computer-aided design programs to convert specifications and design information from engineers into schematics and blueprints.
- Collect, study, and combine rough sketches and initial design ideas from engineers into coherent technical drafts for further study and review by project managers.
- Prepare comprehensive wiring diagrams for electrical equipment, power substations and residential and commercial buildings according to project objectives, design information and engineering specification.
- Preparing complete Electrical, ELV, and Fire Alarm Shop drawings/As built’s along with Trackers as per the EWA/CDD regulations, and IEC Standards/consultant requirements.
- Prepare the Single Line diagram as per EWA regulation and IFC Drawing
- Prepare a cable chart along with the Voltage drop calculation as per EWA regulation.
- Prepare necessary Sections for the clarity of the drawing.
- Prepare a plan for the Electrical room general arrangements and built drawings.

Minimum Requirements:

- Degree Level associate degree.
- 5-7 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman.
- Excellent understanding of a range of electrical generation and transmission systems.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical safety regulations, building codes, and health standards.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Manama: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
