**Position Overview**

The purpose of this role is to sample & measure/asses raw materials (RM), Semi finished products (SFP), finished products (FP), packaging material (PM) and production environment according to existing rules and standards. Carry out relevant analysis, evaluate and report data to the Site Quality Manager.

**Position Accountability Summary**
- Perform and coordinate activities of microbiological laboratory (sample, media preparation, etc.) in order to ensure correct and timely analysis, interpretation and communication of test results in accordance to corporate and legal requirement.
- Measure and assess the micro parameter of samples in accordance with the QA procedures and methods of analysis. Guarantee that every lot of finished products is confirming to the specifications & production needs and requirements.
- Enter QA measurement data into Lab reporting system, prepare reports and provide first level evaluation; managing of data according to hold & release program.
- Identify quality problems, recommend solutions and follow up to ensure they have been solved effectively
- Ensure translation of audit reports into realistic and business focused action plans
- Implementation of new methods (chemical, microbiological, etc.) in compliance with Arla requirements and state legislation.
- Ensure compliance with Arla manuals regarding Laboratory activities (Microbiological, etc.)
- Development of local plant procedures with regards the Laboratory based on the Policies and other corresponding manuals \ documents (Arla Food Quality System), Safety, Security, and Environmental requirements
- Implementation of the preventive Maintenance schedule to make sure the equipment is in workable conditions for everyday analysis as needed
- Contribute to improvement and strengthening of the HACCP system
- Participate in training activities for plant population to ensure effective QA\EHS awareness and behavior and that best practices are rolled out and implemented across the organization
- Adhere to all GMP\GLP and EHS rules and assure the rules are followed by Laboratory employees
- Provide quality-related training for factory personnel/Core teams
- Ensure strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures outlined by the company with respect to GMP, GLP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000:2018, FSSC 22000 and OHSAS 18001

**Position Requirement Summary**
- **Education, Experience & Specialized Knowledge**_
- University degree in Microbiology is a must
- Good knowledge of good laboratory practice, chemical tests
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of related corporate manuals
- Good PC literacy
- ISO and HACCP knowledge
- Minimum 5 years proven experience in a Dairy/Food manufacturing organization
- Deep knowledge of laboratory analytical methods, microbiological, Chemical and Physical Analysis
