Manama, Bahrain Restaurant Management Full time

The Maintenance Supervisor is in charge for the everyday troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs of all commercial equipment and machinery within the production facility. Their primary objective is to keep operations running efficiently and effectively, with a minimum amount of down time in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair machinery and equipment within the designated facility. This may include, but is not limited to, conveyors, PLC, packaging equipment, pneumatic, minor electrical and refrigeration. This may require reading service manuals, schematics, diagrams, blueprints or as-builds.
- Perform regular (daily/weekly/monthly/annual) property and equipment inspections.
- Manage daily maintenance needs and routine preventive maintenance work to ensure the proper upkeep of the machinery and equipment.
- Maintain and repair a variety of kitchen equipment including kettles, skillets, ovens, warmers, thermal units, racking, conveyor and heat seal machines.
- Assists with maintaining and sourcing tools, parts and supplies.
- Controls and tracks downtime associated with maintenance and repair work. Documents what corrective actions were taken.
- Respond to emergency calls during non-business hours.
- Keep an updated record of the equipment which under warranty.
- Coordinate service calls with trades people when necessary.
- Ensure that all maintenance tools are in good working condition and stored neatly and securely. Maintain tool inventory. May assist with sourcing tools, parts and supplies.
- Follows all required safe work practices. This includes wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience as Maintenance Technician in a Hospitality or Restaurant Industry
- Experience working in a fresh or chilled food environment that supports the ability to work in an independent capacity.
- Goal-driven with the ability to multi-task and work a flexible schedule, covering varied shifts.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to update facility maintenance systems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair faulty equipment and problem-solve, while working under pressure and compressed timelines.
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Knowledge of common food handling safety requirements is preferred.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Manama: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Maintenance Technician: 5 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Driving License (required)
