Jr. Accountant

**Role overview**
Jr Accountant responsibilities include recording daily transactions in the accounting software, reconciling
and depositing cash, assisting in month/quarter/year's closing, reconciling bank statements, and
calculating tax payments and returns. This role reports to the Senior Accountant & upper management.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Record all accounting transactions
- Assist in publishing financial statements on time
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Assist in computing & filing VAT returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Assist in audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct
- database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Must have a minimum of 1 year's work experience as an Accountant or similar position
- Advanced MS Excel skills including lookups and pivot tables
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Must be a holder of any Accounting, Finance or relevant
- degree. Hands-on experience with accounting software is a plus
- Able to communicate fluently
