**Position**: Account Assistant
**Department**: Finance/Accounting
**Location**: Tubli
**Reports to**: CFO

**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Vouching and Posting**: Handle day-to-day vouching and posting of supplier invoices and expenses accurately.
- **Payment Processing**: Process bank payments and review supporting documents to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- **Expense Tracking**: Maintain a project expenses tracker to monitor expenditures and budgets.
- **Coordination**: Coordinate with the purchasing team to manage outstanding Purchase Orders and ensure timely payments.
- **Bank Reconciliation**: Perform bank reconciliation to ensure that records are accurate and discrepancies are resolved.
- **Reconciliation**: Conduct supplier and customer reconciliations to maintain accurate accounts.
- **Intercompany Transactions**: Post and reconcile intercompany accounts as needed.
- **Payment Tracking**: Maintain a government and utilities payment tracker for timely compliance.
- **Document Management**: Organize and file documents, ensuring that all records are maintained accurately and efficiently.
- **Project Cost Management**: Provide weekly updates on project cost sheets, including manpower, materials, and subcontract costs.
- **Support to CFO**: Assist the CFO with various accounts-related tasks and special projects as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in accounting or finance is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: BD300.000 - BD350.000 per month

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 2 years (preferred)
