The Agile Scrum Master will lead specific Agile Scrum teams and ensure end to end oversight and management activities of a number of digital transformation initiatives within Bank ABC’s Wholesaled Banking / Transaction Banking Group. In this capacity, the Agile Scrum Master will serve as the central point of accountability and reference for a portfolio of projects - orchestrating all the deliverables and outputs across business, functional, operational, and technical aspects of the Program.

**Responsibilities**:

- To lead the end-to-end design, build and implementation of the assigned initiatives to digitize Bank ABC’s Transaction Banking platform with controlled, iterative rollouts
- Lead the planning, organization, and execution of cross-functional technology and business improvement projects and programs
- Managing and partnering with chosen vendor(s) solutions as per the TB digitization strategy and operating model
- Assist the Product Owner with keeping the backlog groomed
- Facilitates scrum events - including when applicable daily standup, integration planning, iteration review and iteration retrospective and ensures they are productive and timeboxed.
- Represents the team/product owner’s POV in scrum of scrums and coordinates with other scrum masters/team leads on dependencies.
- Act as a Project Manager when necessary - taking responsibility for managing dependencies between the Agile team and third parties or between your team and other scrum teams
- Ensure management tools, such as Jira or others, reflect current state of work at all times and coach product teams on the Agile framework and mindset and guide development teams to higher Agile maturity.
- Actively resolve impediments for the scrum team to ensure work is delivered on schedule and proactively escalate any impediments for resolution with senior leadership
- Create team capacity/velocity and release burn up and sprint burn down and defect metrics, help product teams create and maintain the product roadmap, and work with product partners to prioritize product functionality within available team capacity
- Diligently program expenditures and track against approved budgets ensuring on-time / under-budget delivery
- Manage and coordinate cross functional teams and business groups as needed in the delivery of product functionality and manage and report on risks, issues and dependencies on other program areas
- Partner with business owners, product owners, technology and finance partners to ensure timely delivery of Wholesale Payments program and enforces team rules and requirements hygiene
- Create weekly executive status reports for product space that accurately reflects delivery status for the overall product space within the larger program
- Analyze project risks & impacts; and drive product and technology executives to mitigate issues Proactive management of issue/risk tracking and resolution within the Agile framework
- Demonstrate continuous improvement mindset
- Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of the Product and / or proposition rollout
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to analyze the needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
- Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum and digital product management best practices and new trends
- Refine Agile methodology based on results and Sprint Retrospective
- Strengthen the presence of the Agile Teams and actively contribute to the Bank’s Agile Community

**Job Requirements**:

- Strong ability to interact with stakeholders to understand and interpret and prioritize their needs
- Experience of working for / within Banking and Financial Services domain; either within a Bank or for a consulting / technology company
- Experience of working with vendors in building and implementing a digital solution in a multi-country set-up
- Experience of working with cross functional project teams
- Experience with executive communication, including identification and delineating critical issues and their resolution
- Has excellent knowledge of the Agile frameworks such as Kanban, Scrum, SAFE and familiar with all its artifacts and techniques including user story mapping
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of ready, definition of done, automated testing, backlog refinement, acceptance criteria etc.)
- Ability to resolve conflicts and coordinate teams and projects with an outcome-based mindset
- Demonstrated competence in leadership, team building, time management, organizational management, customer interface, and multiple stakeholder communications
- Demonstrated written, oral, and personal skills that can bridge understandings between Business, Technology and Customers
- 15 years + experience in Agile Project Management with experience preferably in fintech, Technology or financial services
