Job Description

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver integrated curriculum programs that promote critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and respect among students.
  • Evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet individual needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Eligibility to apply for a British Columbia Teaching Certificate or equivalent certification from another Canadian province or foreign English-speaking jurisdiction.
  • Experience in teaching mathematics and science subjects at the middle school level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
