We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead our financial operations in the Middle East. This role involves managing interactions with regulators, auditors, and other external parties, ensuring timely submission of accurate reports and maintaining compliance with all relevant financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and maintain operating budgets, local accounting and reconciliation mechanisms, and manage and oversee the cash flow of the company ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controls.
- Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy to support business growth goals and regulatory requirements, ensuring all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations.
- Risk Management: Maintain and enhance the existing stress testing methodology and scenarios to ensure they continue to meet the needs of the Company and external regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with regulators, auditors, local banking partners, and other external stakeholders.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting and periodic reporting of financial results to the General Manager, Group CFO, and Board of Directors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement. A Chartered accountancy certification (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA, etc.) is highly preferred, as well as prior experience as a named Finance Officer or similar role for regulatory licenses in the Middle East.
