Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to spearhead the development and maintenance of large-scale, high-performance trading data platforms at RESO. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in cloud-native architectures, data engineering principles, and financial services data workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership: Provide strategic guidance on the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native trading data platforms, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of experienced engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
  • Infrastructure Initiatives: Oversee the implementation of cloud-native infrastructure initiatives, leveraging AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform to deploy and scale systems efficiently.
  • Data Engineering: Design and implement efficient, scalable, and fault-tolerant data pipelines for trading, risk management, and reporting, adhering to data engineering principles.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering leads, risk managers, product managers, and engineering teams to enhance the overall platform capabilities and drive business growth.

Requirements

  • Expertise: Proven experience in building and maintaining large-scale, high-performance trading data platforms, with a deep understanding of cloud-native architectures and data engineering principles.
  • Leadership: Strong track record of managing and leading engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in Rust (or C++), Python, and Type Script for system development and automation, as well as proficiency in Git Ops tools and methodologies.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
