As an IT Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and configuration of new and existing servers and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Design: Oversee the installation and configuration of servers and network infrastructure to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Testing and Analysis: Conduct thorough testing and analysis of all components of network and server infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • IT Roadmap: Establish and maintain an IT infrastructure architecture and technology roadmap that aligns with business objectives and meets current and projected needs.
  • Service Delivery Model: Develop and maintain an effective service delivery model that ensures timely and efficient delivery of IT services while meeting business objectives.
  • Compliance: Ensure that our technology infrastructure complies with best practices and meets IT, business, and external stakeholders' requirements.
  • Support: Provide support for IT audits and compliance reviews to ensure that our infrastructure and security processes are compliant with relevant guidelines.
  • Team Management: Oversee team deliverables and report any issues related to timelines, budget, or quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields is required.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in operations, architecture, governance, and infrastructure management with strong IT process background.
  • Knowledge and experience with cloud-based applications is a must.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge regarding current and future infrastructure technologies.
  • Experience working with third-party software and service providers.
  • Experience in contract management and oversight.
  • Ability to evaluate various hardware and software resources to identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential benefits fit for business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas or technologies in easy-to-understand business terms to senior leaders.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Preferred Candidate: A valid driving license and presence in Bahrain at the time of application.
