Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Engineer to join our team at Conrad Bahrain. As a key member of our Engineering, Maintenance and Facilities department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities and services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Facilities Management

You will manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel's facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.

Team Leadership

You will lead the Engineering Team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.

Safety and Compliance

You will develop and implement systems and procedures to ensure the health and safety of guests and team members, as well as the proper conditions for plants, machinery, and property.

Collaboration and Communication

You will work closely with other departments, including housekeeping and front office, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements

  • Qualifications and Experience

You should have a degree in Engineering or a related field and relevant experience in facilities management.

Leadership and Communication Skills

You should possess strong leadership skills and previous experience of managing a team, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Technical Skills

You should be proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software and have knowledge of building information modeling (BIM).
