Job Description

The General Accountant role involves overseeing general ledger and month-end close activities to ensure data accuracy.

Key responsibilities include supervising regular accounting processes, monitoring account reconciliations, and justifying general ledger accounts regularly.

The position also entails administering treasury activities, handling fixed assets, and ensuring intercompany activities are performed efficiently.

Additionally, the General Accountant will substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents and provide support in statutory accounts production.

They will also perform tax declarations and new tax schemes implementation, while complying with local financial legal requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

They should be able to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required.

The candidate should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail.
