Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced linguist to join our team as an Arabic and Farsi Linguist II. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise and contribute to the success of our customers.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will possess excellent English skills and have a strong command of the subject languages, including Arabic and Farsi. You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality language services that meet the needs of our customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and translate complex materials from Arabic and Farsi to English, ensuring accuracy and fluency.
  • Analyze and transcribe verbal communications, identifying key information and context.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our customers, understanding their needs and expectations.
  • Contribute to the development of language training programs, enhancing the skills of our linguists and improving overall performance.
Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must possess excellent command of the subject language(s) & English verbal skills; appropriate Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) proficiency level in target language and proficiency level in English based on oral and written language skills examination.
  • Must hold a current U.S. passport.
  • Must possess an active clearance for access to classified information.
  • Must be willing to work in Bahrain or similar.
  • Must be willing to work shifts and extended hours in support of 24 x 7 operations.
  • Must have familiarity with and ability to conduct oneself in accordance with the local culture and customs.
  • Must undergo medical examination.
