Job Title: Vehicle Maintenance Technician
The position requires a high level of technical expertise, with a focus on ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard and safety is observed at all times.
Main Responsibilities:- Diagnostic and Repair Work: Diagnose defects and effect repairs to engine, gearbox, chassis, axles, steering, and brakes.
- Fault Diagnosis: Use specialist equipment relevant to vehicles to diagnose faults.
- Vehicle Repairs: Repair vehicles to statutory standards.
- Defect Identification: Identify and repair defects with various vehicle types.
- Vehicle Preparation: Prepare vehicles for testing.
- Lubrication: Carry out lubrication of all vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Service Maintenance: Service vehicles according to vehicle manufacturing specifications, complying with statutory standards.
- Documentation: Maintain documentation as per quality procedures.
- Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility in line with operational requirements.
