Lead External Audit Manager
About the Role
This position is responsible for leading and managing external audit engagements from planning through completion. As a seasoned professional, you will conduct comprehensive audit procedures, including risk assessments, control evaluations, and substantive testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute external audit engagements in accordance with IFRS and ISA standards
- Conduct risk assessments, control evaluations, and substantive testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial statements
- Prepare and review audit reports to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with clients to gather information, discuss findings, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Supervise and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and training as needed
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of audit reports and financial statements
Requirements
- Mastery of auditing standards, IFRS, and relevant laws and regulations of Bahrain
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in supervising and mentoring junior staff
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency within audit practices
