Job Title:

Global Tax Specialist

This role requires a specialist in global tax to provide advice on international trade and taxation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Customs Law and its practical application across countries, as well as regional Free Trade Agreements and key customs concepts such as valuation, classification, and origin.

The responsibilities of this role include advising clients on VAT treatment of new and complex transactions, resolving classification or other disputes and issues with the authorities, and participating in preparing for meetings with management teams.

The successful candidate must be able to prepare reports and schedules for clients and develop productive working relationships with client personnel and internal teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of Customs Law and its practical application across countries.
  • Knowledge of regional Free Trade Agreements.
  • Ability to advise clients on VAT treatment of new and complex transactions.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
