System Software Engineer Role

We are seeking an exceptional System Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for compilers, runtimes, and tool chains.

  • Collaborate with a distributed team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Select, integrate, and package best-of-breed tooling with Ubuntu to improve developer and operator experience.
  • Design and develop new features using modern C/C++ programming languages.
  • Debug issues and produce high-quality code to fix them.
  • Review code produced by other engineers and participate in code reviews.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant GCC or LLVM experience, ideally in cloud-native software and Linux.
  • Experience in packaging software for Debian and Ubuntu.
  • Strong academic track record from high school and university.
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or alternative chosen path.
  • Excellent competencies in modern C/C++, Linux distributions, software architectures, and open-source software.
