Job Description

The role of an Interior Design Draftsman is critical to the success of our projects at Client of Domo Ventures W.L.L. We require an individual who can create highly detailed technical drawings and plans that communicate design specifications to construction and fabrication teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating Detailed Drawings: The successful candidate will create detailed interior design drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, using CAD software.
  • Material Specification: They will specify and detail materials, finishes, and construction techniques, including wall treatments, flooring, ceiling designs, and millwork.
  • Code Compliance: The Interior Design Draftsman must stay current with building codes and regulations to ensure that the design complies with safety and accessibility standards.
  • Collaboration: This role requires working closely with interior designers, architects, and other project team members to translate design concepts into technical drawings.
  • Project Management: The successful candidate will maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation, including design revisions, specifications, and correspondence with team members and clients.
  • 3D Modeling: They will assist in the creation of 3D models to help visualize design concepts and identify potential issues or improvements.
  • Quality Control: The Interior Design Draftsman will review and check drawings for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that they align with the design intent and project goals.
  • Cost Optimization: They will work to optimize designs to be cost-effective without compromising quality and aesthetics.
