Detailed Job Description

The Senior Diesel Engine Inspector will assist maintenance and support personnel supporting the FOTS contract under NAVSEA PMS 326.

The ideal candidate will have experience with shipboard diesel engines, propulsion, and auxiliary systems.

Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise complex repairs to different diesel engines such as MTU, Caterpillar, Fairbanks Morse, Isotta Fraschini, Paxman, etc.
  2. Train crew and maintenance personnel in diesel maintenance and operations.

Requirements:

  • 6 years of technical experience with shipboard diesel engines, propulsion, and auxiliary systems.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs.
