Electrical Technician Job

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role as an Electrical Technician? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on injection and compression molding machines. They will also be responsible for maintaining auxiliary equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.

  • Receives instructions from the Supervisor regarding tasks and priorities.
  • Completes all work following established procedures and ensures all spare parts are functional and available.
  • Reviews items that require repair, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems in injection molding machines.
Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with PLC programming. They will also possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

  • Repairs equipment on the shop floor or in the tool shop as quickly as possible to prevent production stoppages.
  • Ensures all required documentation is correctly completed and that the maintenance database is updated at the start or end of the shift.
  • Responds to breakdowns swiftly to minimize downtime, seeking assistance from the Maintenance department or Supervisor, when necessary.
