At Paramount Computer Systems, we are seeking an experienced IT Security Patch Management Specialist to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive patch management strategy that aligns with the company's security, operational, and business requirements.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in IT patch management, vulnerability remediation, and patch deployment. They will possess strong knowledge of systems vulnerability management and system hardening to mitigate Common Vulnerability and Exposures (CVE). Additionally, they should have experience managing patch management for enterprise-wide Operating Systems such as Microsoft, Linux, AIX, AS400, Endpoint Protection software & tools.

You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to evaluate the risk associated with unpatched vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies. You will also review and coordinate the deployment of patches, updates, and security fixes across all systems, applications, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to schedule and implement patching activities
  • Prepare detailed reports and metrics on patch compliance and vulnerability remediation progress

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT patch management, vulnerability remediation, and patch deployment
  • Strong knowledge of systems vulnerability management and system hardening
  • Experience managing patch management for enterprise-wide Operating Systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
