Laboratory Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Clarendon Parker Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine qualitative and quantitative chemical and biochemical analysis of sewage, water, soil, or other materials by standardized and predetermined methods.

1. Conduct detailed testing of wastewater using established protocols.
2. Perform routine and specialized tests and analysis on raw and digested sludges and water, including tests for volatile and suspended solids, total dissolved solids, alkalinity, total hardness, pH, biochemical oxygen demand, total and fecal coliform (MPN and Colilert), standard plate counts, and other tests.
3. Collect and log various water and wastewater samples from the field.
4. Maintain accurate records of test data and prepare laboratory reports.
5. Ensure quality control and maintain the quality control program and records.

1. A scientific diploma in a relevant field is required.
2. Minimum of 3 years laboratory experience for the senior role.
3. Familiarity with chemical standard analytical methods.
4. Familiarity with biological/microbiological standard analytical methods.
5. Background knowledge of process Environmental Regulatory issues would be advantageous.
