About the Role:

This position involves leading a globally distributed team of engineers, guiding their work, and overseeing the development of innovative solutions for the automotive and industrial sectors.

  • You will represent our organization in the automotive community, including customers, partners, and consortia, promoting excellent engineering practices and fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Key responsibilities include refining our vision and strategy for automotive, developing skills through coaching, feedback, and hands-on technical leadership, and ensuring that our Linux distribution and open source software strategy bridge the gap between innovation and industry-specific requirements.

Key Requirements:
  • A strong background in software engineering, Linux, and open source is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux packages, embedded development, and familiarity with automotive and industry standards such as ISO21434, ISO26262, SOTIF, and IEC 61508.
  • Experience in C/C++ and Python programming, as well as practical experience in automotive domains, including functional safety, embedded systems, and cloud software trends.
