Housekeeping Operations Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team in Manama, Bahrain.
This key role is responsible for ensuring exceptional cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout our property.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate daily room attendant and house attendant assignments.
- Organize, prioritize, and route housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are guest-ready by established check-in times.
- Collaborate closely with room inspectors to update the hotel management system with accurate room statuses.
- Communicate effectively with front desk staff to provide timely updates on room availability and fulfill special requests.
- Oversee guest laundry delivery and coordinate with relevant departments.
- Ensure all daily reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain open lines of communication with housekeeping leadership and other departments.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low supplies to management.
- Respond professionally to guest inquiries and concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment within the housekeeping team.
- Necessary Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership experience or potential to guide and motivate a team.
- Knowledge of housekeeping best practices and industry standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality management degree a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills beneficial.
