VAM Systems is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company. We are seeking a Senior Data Governance Expert to join our team.

About the Job:

This role is responsible for defining and rolling out data quality management frameworks, processes, policies, and standards within the organization. You will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to identify and address data quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing data quality management frameworks, processes, and policies.
  • Collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to identify and address data quality issues.
  • Overseeing the entire data lifecycle, from creation and capture to processing, storage, and usage.
  • Designing and developing SQL Server T-SQL procedures and functions for batch processing and reporting.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent skills in Excel, SQL, SAS, data analysis, ETL tools, and data profiling.
  • Strong understanding of data governance processes, master data management, reference data management, data profiling, and data quality rules.
  • Experience in identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling, and mitigating data quality issues and risks.
  • Profound knowledge of banking and financial products, related data, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Robust project management skills to drive technology process improvement projects.
  • Compelling organizational and communication skills to drive data quality adoption within the organization.
