Horticultural Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Horticultural Specialist.

Maintaining and caring for the plants, flowers, and grounds is a critical aspect of this position.

• The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of various plant types, their care requirements, and common diseases/pests.
• A valid passport and visa-free entry to Bahrain are necessary qualifications.

This contract position involves:

1. Planting, watering, pruning, and fertilizing diverse plant species
2. Maintaining lawns by ensuring they remain weed-free
3. Trimming trees and shrubs to preserve their shape and health
4. Monitoring plant health and addressing any diseases or pests as needed
5. Operating and maintaining gardening equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• Physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy objects
• The capacity to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Attention to detail to ensure all areas are well-maintained and visually appealing
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team when required

In addition to the above requirements, a strong understanding of landscape design principles would be beneficial.
