A Developmental Psychologist for Children is needed to join our team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will work closely with children, parents, and educators to support psychological well-being and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders in children and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, therapy sessions, and interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support a child's psychological well-being and development.
  • Administer and interpret results of psychological testing and evaluations.
  • Provide counseling and therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient assessments and treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in child psychology and developmental theory.

Requirements:

  • Education: A Master's degree in Psychology is required; a Ph.D. is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 7-8 years of professional experience in child psychology is required.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is essential; Arabic is desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Contract Duration: A one-year contract with the possibility of extension based on performance.
  • Location: Bahrain.
  • Salary: Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
