Data Center Operator Job Summary
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for ensuring the smooth operation of data center facilities? We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our data center infrastructure, including power and cooling systems, security access control, and network and telecommunications equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in maintaining and operating complex systems. You should be able to troubleshoot issues efficiently and effectively, and have excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners. Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain data center facilities, including power and cooling systems, security access control, and network and telecommunications equipment.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues with data center infrastructure and communicate with internal teams and external partners as needed.
  • Perform preventative and planned/unplanned maintenance activities on data center resources.
  • Coordinate hardware replacement, capacity expansion, and server installation with internal technical teams and external vendors.
  • Manage the installation of pre-integrated racks, individual servers, and network appliances, including stacking, wiring, and cable management.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Minimum three years of hands-on experience in data center operations or a related field.
  • Mandatory requirement: Car and driver's license.
