Data Science and AI Academic Position

We invite applications for a full-time faculty position in Data Science and AI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Courses and Curriculum: Teaching undergraduate-level courses in Data Science and AI, and contributing to curriculum development and modification.
  • Course Preparation: Developing and preparing course syllabi, lesson plans, and assignments.
  • Student Progress: Evaluating student progress through grading assignments, papers, exams, and other work.
  • Student Guidance: Advising students on course selection and academic goals.
  • Field Expertise: Staying updated on the latest developments and innovations in the field.
  • Faculty Duties: Invigilating examinations and attending faculty meetings.
  • Research and Publication: Pursuing research and publication opportunities.
  • Student Projects: Supervising student projects and thesis.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A PhD from a recognized institution in a relevant field, such as Data Science and AI.
  • Experience teaching Data Science and AI-related programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Preferrably, experience in developing higher education programs in Data Science and AI or comparable industry experience.
  • A strong preference for US-educated candidates with higher education experience in the United States.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership aligned with the core values of integrity, engagement, excellence, and a desire to make a difference.
