Rotana Hotel Chief Accountant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance professional to join our team at Rotana Hotel.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in hotel management or accounting and at least two years of experience within a hotel environment. Excellent English communication skills and computer literacy are essential, while knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN Systems is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify the General Cashier's report, income journal vouchers, supplier invoices, and general ledger coding of expenses.
- Verify supplier payments with supporting invoices, LPOs, and expense reimbursement with documents.
- Review payroll reports with supporting documents at month-end.
- Prepare general ledger reconciliations and renewals of expiring contracts.
- Prepare, post, and update standard journal vouchers and adjustment entries.
- Analyze general ledger expenses and major variations from budget at month-end.
- Ensure timely completion of accounting reports and job deadlines for other employees.
