Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Maintenance Department and overseeing the execution of maintenance activities. This will involve developing and implementing operating frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, Fives standards, and international best practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to meet operational requirements and achieve business objectives.
  • Manage and review financial performance, including P&L management and budget development.
  • Implement cost reduction initiatives and drive efficient practices to enhance maintenance capabilities.
  • Oversee stock requirements, inventory management, and equipment availability.
  • Prepare maintenance reporting requirements, including analysis of data, downtime, and quality metrics.
  • Plan preventative and scheduled maintenance to optimize departmental capacity.
  • Contribute to the preparation of RFQs, technical requirements, and specifications.
  • Review and approve change orders and ad-hoc expenditure.
  • Ensure manual and document updates, internal and external communication, and user awareness.
  • Identify areas for automation and digitization to drive efficiencies.
  • Lead the implementation of automation/digitization strategies and solutions.
  • Participate in recruitment activities and evaluate individual performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HSEQ requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering field.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Aluminum Smelters is preferable.
