We are looking for an experienced linguist to join our team and support U.S. Army operations in Bahrain.

Responsibilities:
  1. Support military operations by providing language expertise
  2. Conduct interpretation services during interviews, meetings, and conferences
  3. Analyze and transcribe verbal communications
  4. Research and analyze foreign language documents

Requirements:

  • American citizenship
  • Proficiency in BOTH Arabic and Persian-Farsi (target languages) & English
  • ILR proficiency level 3 in target language and proficiency level 2+ in English based on oral language skills examination
  • Secret clearance for access to classified information
  • Willingness to work in Bahrain and aboard Navy vessels
  • Familiarity with local culture and customs
  • Ability to work extended hours in support of 24 x 7 operations

Work Environment:

Bahrain and aboard Navy vessels

Travel Requirements:

Periodic travel up to a few weeks at a time
