At SOFITEL, we are seeking an exceptional Housekeeping Director to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the Housekeeping operations, ensuring that hotel standards and procedures are fully known and followed.

This includes supervising that all designated rooms are prepared as per standards and according to guest requests and needs.

In addition, the Housekeeping Director will be responsible for developing staff motivation and performance through daily trainings and regular refresher courses.

The ideal candidate will have a service-focused personality and previous experience in a similar leadership role is an asset.

Prior experience working with Opera or a related system is also beneficial.

The Housekeeping Director will ensure close coordination with the Front Office, Engineering, Food and Beverage as well as the Guest Relation regarding guest requests.

They will lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise Housekeeping operations to ensure hotel standards and procedures are met.
  • Develop staff motivation and performance through training and refresher courses.
  • Coordinate with other departments to provide excellent guest service.
  • Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping department.

The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities and the ability to lead by example.
