Industrial Maintenance Professional for Power Generation

We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our team in Bahrain. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing onsite testing and commissioning of power generators and light towers.
You will be proficient in conducting necessary troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repairs for all types of power generators and light towers. Your skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting control panels and automatic transfer switches will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will be competent in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and wiring diagrams. You will also possess knowledge of programming and configuring generator controllers, as well as experience in installing or removing engine parts such as pumps, starter motor, actuators, alternator etc.
Your experience in generator paralleling and synchronization will be valuable in ensuring the efficient operation of our power generation systems. You will also be responsible for selecting genset spare parts, utilizing parts manuals, and software. Furthermore, you will be capable of preparing detailed service and technical reports, and managing warranty claims with suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Location:
This role is based in Bahrain but may require travel across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to talk and hear; use hands to manipulate objects or controls
- Regularly required to stand and walk
- Occasionally required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders
- Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds
Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel is required.
