Arabic Language Instructor

As an Arabic Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing the SABIS curriculum and philosophy through teaching using provided lesson plans, developing lesson plans as relevant and needed, and using the SABIS point system to ensure an environment conducive to learning in the classroom.

• Teaching: Develop and deliver engaging lessons to students, ensuring they understand and apply concepts.
• Assessment: Mark exams related to their subject matter in accordance with the schedule and material provided by the department.
• Disciplinary Issues: Discuss disciplinary and student performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller (AQC) and head of department (HOD) as needed.
• Support: Provide support by invigilating exams as needed in an adequate and properly managed exam environment, supporting academically low-performing students, and aiding in duties such as testing children, substituting for absent teachers, organizing children for lunches and buses, controlling traffic, and other administrative duties assigned by the school management.
• Event Planning: Prepare and participate in activity plans for all student life-related events such as art, open house, and physical education in coordination with the student life coordinator.
• Professional Development: Attend training sessions when needed and as per the request of school management to enhance their understanding of the SABIS system and improve their performance.

• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related subject matter and/or equivalent.
• Language Proficiency: Arabic Proficient.
• Technical Skills: MS Office needed components.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
