About This Role:

The primary objective of this position is to prepare, review, and provide recommendations on credit facilities for large corporate clients. This involves ensuring compliance with all relevant credit policies and guidelines.

This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure timely submissions and accurate due diligence. Close collaboration with relationship managers is also crucial to obtain necessary information from borrowers and facilitate comprehensive reviews of credit facilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit credit applications in a timely manner, conduct client visits, and perform due diligence in coordination with the coverage team.
  • Work closely with relationship managers to obtain necessary information from borrowers, facilitating comprehensive reviews of credit facilities.
  • Maintain credit processing and approval turnaround times according to agreed service level agreements.
  • Monitor accounts regularly, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and following up with business units as needed.
  • Identify early warning indicators, liaise with business units to develop action plans, and rectify potential problems at an early stage.
  • Review exception and portfolio reports, staying informed about client account conduct, financial standing, and market developments to provide appropriate recommendations.
  • Promote data accuracy when presenting to stakeholders, including senior management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • Chartered Accountant or Master's in Business Administration (MBA) is desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the banking sector, with at least 3 years in similar positions with increasing responsibilities in the Credit function.
  • Proven experience in managing credit facilities for large corporates.
