Graphic Systems Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a high-performance graphics technology stack. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with expertise in C++ and Rust programming languages to work on a project that empowers communities to create seamless graphical experiences across various environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science, excellent knowledge of modern C++ and Rust, and experience working with Linux as a development and deployment platform. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for documenting and presenting software developed.

This role offers the chance to collaborate with a diverse team of experts, participate in code and architectural reviews, and engage with the open-source community. The successful candidate will be able to design and implement features, assist in debugging, and create tests and performance benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implementation of features across the graphic stack
  • Collaboration with the team on code and architectural reviews
  • Creation of documentation to enhance the developer experience
  • Engagement with the open-source community and commercial partners
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong understanding of C++ and Rust programming languages
  • Experience working with Linux as a development and deployment platform
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Desirable Skills
  • Familiarity with Wayland protocol ecosystem and compositors
  • Knowledge of OpenGL, Vulkan, and other graphics frameworks
  • Understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency patterns
