About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Welding Professional to join our team.

This role will be responsible for coordinating multiple welding-related projects and ensuring they meet international standards and project demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze engineering designs to meet welding requirements
  • Coordinate multiple welding-related projects and liaise with test labs and suppliers
  • Conduct and report welding engineering investigations to optimize methods
  • Oversee and develop welding procedures and support manufacturing teams
  • Train and qualify welders according to ISO standards
  • Create welding plans and procedures for First Article Inspections (FAI)
  • Drive ISO 15085, EN 1090, and EN ISO 3834 certifications and renewals
  • Manage supplier welding qualifications for new projects
  • Lead root cause and failure analysis for welding operations
  • Innovate welding methods and fixtures to improve efficiency
  • Monitor and enhance welding defect rates with process owners
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Metallurgy
  • 10+ years' experience in welding engineering
  • IWE certification with 5+ years' experience
  • Proven experience as a Responsible Welding Coordinator in EN15085 (CL1 & CL2) certified environments
