Job Purpose:
This role involves maintaining a safe and orderly environment by addressing disciplinary issues and promoting student conduct.
Main Responsibilities:
- Regularly check the environment to ensure it's safe and clean before classes start.
- Coordinate student line-ups during recess with SLO prefects to maintain order.
- Minimize travel time between classes to prevent delays.
- Mentor students on the importance of discipline in creating a safe learning environment.
- Ensure students enter quietly after breaks and attend classes on time.
- Motivate students to work hard during class for maximum learning.
- Accurately record data on SSMS/SIS, including attendance reports and student infractions.
- Notify parents of absences and follow up as needed.
- Observe classes to maintain calm learning environments.
- Prevent bullying and fighting, inform students of disciplinary actions.
- Accompany students to buses after school hours.
- Prepare daily reports on observations, infractions, and teacher complaints.
- Assist with exam hall supervision.
- Enforce safety rules and take initiative during activities.
- Attend weekly meetings and training sessions with the team.
- Promote the Student Life Code of Honor.
- Perform other related tasks as delegated by management.
