Role Overview

The Treasury Operation function plays a crucial role in managing financial resources, ensuring liquidity, and optimizing cash flow. This team member will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of the company, supporting growth initiatives, and meeting financial obligations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Payment Compliance: Review all invoices related to Accounts Payable to ensure compliance with internal processes.
  • Cash Flow Management: Track, review, and process payments on the bank portal at the group level, ensuring timely payment of invoices.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Ensure that bank reconciliations and entries are recorded in a timely manner.
  • Internal Funding: Assist in managing the internal funding requirements of the organization.
  • Cash Forecasting: Assist the senior accountant in preparing cash flow and forecasts for all group entities on a monthly basis.
  • Cash Optimization: Optimize cash utilization and manage cash reserves in alignment with the company's objectives.
  • Banking Relationships: Oversee and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Fiscal Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential financial risks related to cash flow, exchange rates, and interest rates.
  • Treasury Process Improvement: Streamline treasury processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Policy Development: Initiate and assess procedures and policies related to the processing of payments and cash inflows and outflows, participating in system enhancements for Treasury Operations.

Ideal Candidate

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance, and a relevant professional qualification.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of accounting experience.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
  • Work Habits: Ability to work with little to no supervision, accuracy, attention to detail & deadline-oriented.
  • Leadership: Drive quality and accountability of results from initial input collection to final outcomes.
  • Teamwork: Build strong relationships, establish trust, identify needs and motivate teams to drive operational and strategic priorities.
